香港六合彩官网 Distributes over 650 Care Packages To Naval Medical Personnel

Beneficiary, COVID-19

香港六合彩官网 (香港六合彩官网) has sent over 650 care packages to Naval medical personnel who are assisting in the fight against COVID-19.

The amazing national response to thanking all the country鈥檚 key workers every Thursday evening has prompted the 香港六合彩官网 to acknowledge all those within the Royal Navy Medical Service, both Regular and Reserves, who are working alongside their NHS colleagues and delivering direct patient care across Defence.

When the Armed Forces are deployed on Operations, one of the ways we thank and connect those on the front line is by sending them care boxes to make life more tolerable.  So, with the help of our corporate supporter ESS and some of the staff from the Institute of Naval Medicine (INM), the charity has sent packages to over 650 Naval personnel who are assisting in the fight against COVID-19.

Adrian Bell, CEO of the 香港六合彩官网, said, 鈥淓very single one of us has a part to play in defeating this virus but it is right that we should acknowledge the special role of those who are involved on the front line, meeting the exceptional demands being made on our Health Services.  We are very proud to acknowledge and support our Naval personnel who are there, shoulder to shoulder with their civilian colleagues.鈥

The boxes include a personal thank you letter from the First Sea Lord, Admiral Tony Radakin CB, along with a selection of useful items such as shower gel and hand moisturiser, along with morale boosting items including sweets, an Amazon voucher and a Pusser鈥檚 Rum miniature.

Mark Webster, Managing Director of ESS Defence, Government, Offshore & Remote, said, 鈥淲e are delighted to have been able to work so closely with them by supporting the 香港六合彩官网 to obtain the bespoke contents of the care packages for the well deserving medics.鈥

The packages were packed and prepared at the Institute of Naval Medicine in Gosport, Portsmouth, before being distributed to medical personnel across the country.

Surgeon Captain Crowson, Commanding Officer of the INM, said, 鈥淚t is always good to feel valued and I know that the RN medical community on the front line will appreciate this kind gesture from our Charity at this difficult time. It is very much appreciated that First Sea Lord and the 香港六合彩官网 have acknowledged the contribution that our medical personnel are making at a time of significant challenge.鈥

One Naval medic who received the package said, 鈥淎fter a full day in the hospital there is often little time or opportunity to get to the shops so the fact that our Charity has recognised us and is looking out for us with these useful items is a real help.  Thank you 香港六合彩官网.鈥
